Professional Biography

Charles Van Leuven works as the Development and Grants Coordinator for OSLSA. Before coming to OSLSA, he worked for the City of Columbus in their Grants Management Section, and has a history of working in local government, political campaigns, and social justice related initiatives. “I’m excited to work for an organization as impactful as OSLSA because social justice and equity are at the core of my values,” said Charles.

Personal

Charles received a full-ride scholarship through the Morrill Scholarship Program, Ohio State's premier diversity/merit scholarship program, rewarding academically talented students who are actively engaged in diversity-based leadership, service, and social justice activities. 



Outside of work, Charles is a part of a book club called Hardcover Hotties; they read anything from critical essays about queer identity to lighthearted graphic novels about gossip.
