Professional Biography
Donna Mayer is a staff attorney at the Legal Aid Society of Columbus who presently works with the housing team. After graduating from law school in 1980, Donna joined the Marion branch office, where she began working as a generalist. She transferred to the Columbus office seven years later and started a specialty in housing. During her time in the Columbus office, Donna has handled cases in the public benefits area and also domestic relations, while always maintaining her focus on housing. She enjoys helping her clients and their children maintain their housing and preventing them from becoming homeless.

Donna was a volunteer with the Literacy Council and in the late 1970’s with Tarrant County Legal Aid in Texas. Donna presently lives in Columbus with her husband and two rescue dogs, Alfred and Hush Puppy.
