Karen McVay is a paralegal at the Marion office of the Legal Aid Society of Columbus (LASC). Karen joined LASC in the fall of 1997 as a legal secretary. She spent two years in that role before accepting her current position as an LASC paralegal. Her work covers Marion, Morrow, Delaware and Union counties and includes handling administrative hearings, utility disputes and senior citizen-specific issues. Karen also occasionally assists the staff attorneys at the Marion office with preparing and filing pleadings. She enjoys working with LASC because every day is different, and a new client is served through her work on a daily basis.
